A new report shows that children living in the Haifa Bay area, Israel are exposed to substantially more pollution and suffer significantly higher rates of illness than children elsewhere in the country. 

This report underscores the importance of the recent training and launch of a Bucket Brigade program in Israel with the help of Global Community Monitor. The report especially calls out air pollution from the oil refinery, a type of facility that GCM has a long track record in providing communities with the tools to prevention pollution and improve community health.
