PRINCE GEORGE, B.C.: Recent Bucket Samples Show Hazardous Air Contaminants (video)


The newly launched Bucket Brigade in Prince George, British Columbia, has confirmed that recent sampling has found hazardous air pollutants and is beginning the investigative process to link air pollution to pulp mills and other source.

GCM conducted a Bucket Brigade training in Prince George less than a month ago in partnership with the local organization, PACHA.

The air samples taken as a result of the training as part of a process to use citizen science to document air quality, possible sources of pollutants and to ensure that companies and regulators are responding to community concerns and preventing or reducing toxic exposure.
