colonies. This is part of the first

municipalities in the region.
The coordinator of
harmful toxins, Hilda Rodríguez, indicated that in
the next few days the surveyors from the National Institute of Public health
will arrive to initiate the program and detect the types of disease that exist
in the zone in relation with the chemical agents emitted by the 120 enterprises

respiratory disease in children less than 5 year of age and adults, dermatitis,
gastroenteritis, leukemia and liver cancer among different ages.

study and a signed agreement between the state government and Pemex.
One his part, chief of the Municipal Public
Health Department, Victor Atilano Cerna, along with the Secretary of Health

about some illnesses.”
The municipality of Coatzacoalcos will
continue working until epidemiological studies are conclude and they know what
will be Petróleos Mexicanos’ response.

collaborating with the Sanitary Jurisdiction and with city hall so that they
might carry out the studies on the population, above all on the women and
children,” he highlighted.
